About Me
How did I get where I am?

Doing a Degree Apprenticeship
I am currently studying as a degree apprentice, splitting my time between university modules and working in a busy IT department. This gives the best of both worlds: gaining the technical knowledge required for my career, while gaining hands-on experience and making connections in the industry.

Working at BUUK
BUUK is the leading utility partner in the UK, constructing and maintaining utility infrastructure on new-build housing developments. The large IT department supports the business, maintaining software in-house to enable the efficient management of our connections.

Studying at University of Suffolk
I'm currently in my third year (of four) of my degree: BSc (Hons) Digital and Technology Solutions (Software Engineering) at the University of Suffolk. More information on the course is available on the UoS website.

What is a Degree Apprenticeship?
A degree apprenticeship enables you to study and work at the same time, studying the technical aspects of your fields while gaining invaluable hands-on experience in the industry. You can find out more about degree apprenticeships on the UCAS website.
